A few years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a short-term assignment gradually became a new chapter of life overseas.
How It Began
Moving to United States wasn’t part of our long-term plan. Like many expat moves, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far bigger.
The early weeks were demanding — new systems, new routines, new expectations. Everyday tasks felt tougher than they needed to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and plenty of learning by doing. But gradually routines settled in. We found places that suited us, met other families, and began building something that felt stable.
Why I Created Verdant Line Trace
Most information online was either corporate relocation advice or surface-level tourism content. What was missing was honest, everyday family perspective.
This site exists to fill that gap — practical guidance grounded in real life in United States.
